We are since 30th December the proud owners of Locomia. A podenco girl saved from Ibiza

We have named her Loca ( I know , I know but those ears are so funny)

She has setteld in so well in just two days time. She raided the trash bin in the kitchen within an hour hahaha so now we have placed that somewhere where she cant get at it (and especially the plastic bag).

Hi Telma

Loca now lives with us here in Holland on an island called Texel.So she is surrounded by beaches, water and forrest to run and play in when shes setteld in more to be off the leash. I dont dare to do that right now as she has a very high prey drive for all birds, and wild such as hares, which is also typical Podenco

I read on many sites about the story of the hell of these podencos on Ibiza but we adopted her through GINN in Holland. She had come to Holland with 2 other Podencos. One other has been adopted and the last one will be hopefully soon.

We have two galgo's also here from Scooby ( Arlo and Riquelme) Arlo has become pretty famous because my boyfriend made films of him on the beach here and has them on youtube. We had a lot of reactions from the one film from all over the world, which is good. Any attention that helps for the plight of these wonderful animals is a good thing.

Loca is here now for 1 week and is setteld in so well as if she has never lived anywhere else. We love her dearly and all the 4 dogs get on great.
