Wicks and wines to help the galgos!

Christopher Plaskett February 13, 2013

The wonderful people at Leaving Tracks are donating all of the proceeds from their Charity Wicks Charity Wicks candles

and Benefit Wines fundraisers to GRIN for sales made through June 30, 2013!

In addition to their range of scented candles, they're now selling a range of wines as well, and both feature adorable and awesome greyhound and galgo labels.

The folks at Leaving Tracks recommend stocking up to use them as gifts or to enjoy for yourself (and who can't use a relaxing candlelit evening with a bottle of wine?).

Please help support us by supporting them, and treat yourself or your family or friends as well.

Leaving Tracks' Charity Wicks candles are here, and the wines can be viewed here.

Galgo Rescue International Network

Galgo Rescue International Network

Dedicated to the welfare of the Spanish Galgo and Sighthounds worldwide.

Galgo Rescue International Network (GRIN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization run entirely by volunteers that was founded to establish a relationship between the animal shelters in Spain and animal lovers in the United States and around the world.  Our love of Greyhounds and concern for their plight drew us to their cousins — the galgos.

Working closely with Spanish shelters, GRIN raises awareness of the Spanish Greyhound's plight through international educational campaigns and fundraising.  We also aid shelters and assist with adoptions for rehomed sighthounds in the U.S. with the primary goals being to provide practical help and supplies to the Spanish shelters and to inspire change in the treatment of the Galgo Espnaõl and the Podenco through public informational and educational campaigns.
